Stop reckless state governments

from unfairly taxing your savings!

Australian state governments are

coming after your savings.

They have been spending recklessly and are trying to find ways to pay off their ballooning debt.

This is why they have introduced new land taxes in Victoria and New South Wales.

Why are these new taxes so bad?

They unfairly target hard working Australians.
It will increase rents.
Makes the housing affordability crisis worse.
Will force aspiring family owners to sell.
Undermines financial security and certainty.
Will put a stop to desperately needed investment for more housing and local infrastructure.

About My Land Tax Story

No one is listening to the human consequences of higher land tax bills. State governments don't care; they just want your money. They treat us like a piggy bank to be raided, ignoring the fact that we have gone without, saved, and sacrificed. Higher bills mean we pay more just to keep what we have earned.

Victoria has slashed the land tax threshold from $300,000 to just $50,000
and ratcheted up expensive fixed levies over the next decade to pay for their mismanagement of the state economy during the COVID pandemic.
NSW is on the same path, freezing the land tax threshold to raise an additional $1.5 billion over the next four years.
